Sharanjit Kaur and Preeti Dhingra both arrived in Melbourne from India in 2007 and formed a fast friendship while employed at a local beauty salon.
After two years working together, they decided to strike out on their own – so in 2018 they opened Browtistic Beauty in Braybrook.
Eyebrow shaping and threading
At Browtistic Beauty they specialise in eyebrow shaping and threading as well as offering lash lifting, lash tinting, henna, waxing and facials.
Every day you’ll find either Sharanjit or Preeti inside their softly lit blush pink salon, helping people and serving customers with their beauty expertise.
Beauty is our passion
“Beauty is our passion,” explains Preeti. “We love sharing our talents and our clients trust us to provide the best service. That’s why they come back to us, again and again. We really get to know them.”
As if owning a bustling beauty salon wasn’t impressive enough, these entrepreneurs are also busy full-time mums, with five young children between them.
“My daughter loves coming in here, she’s always asking me to do beauty treatments on her!” laughs Preeti. “We wanted to start our own business because we love what we do, but also to show our children that they too could achieve their ambitions with hard work. We have big dreams for Browtistic Beauty!”
