Le Spa De Jour

Toni Le and Lyn Christian, the co-owners of Le Spa De Jour, first met where all great business partnerships are made – in a Facebook group.

“The first time I posted in the group I said that I wanted to offer some of the rooms at Le Spa De Jour to support other women in the industry to get on their feet. Lyn was the first one to respond and it kind of just all aligned,” Toni reminisces.

In just two months, Lyn went from hiring out one of Toni’s rooms to becoming a joint business partner.

Le Spa De Jour provides the inner west with beauty and wellness treatments in a serene sanctuary. It’s been operating on the same site in Seddon since 2009 with Toni, the then manager, taking over the business in 2011.

A decade later, Lyn joined the team after running a successful home-based beauty business and wanting to expand.

“My clients and Toni’s clients started to merge and we discovered that we shared a vision and had complementary skills and strengths,” explains Lyn. “I love skincare and facials while Toni loves body contouring and skin correction. I work on the day to day operations and the staff management whereas Toni’s strength is in public relations and growth strategies.”

From soothing skin treatments to full-body massages, pregnancy packages, body wraps, lash extensions, rejuvenating treatments and your classic manis and pedis - expect to be pampered at Le Spa De Jour.

Their focus is on grounding and relaxing the body while recharging the soul and to produce tangible results.

You’ll find no sterile white walls or clinical procedure rooms here. As you walk in, you’re welcomed with a catch up and a cuppa as you settle into a relaxing rose-scented foot soak and sage purifying ritual.

“We always take the time to get to know your personal relationship with beauty so that we can provide you with the bespoke service that will make you feel stunning, inside and out,” says Lyn.

“Our mission is longevity. It’s not about the quick fixes. It’s about offering something holistic and long term for our clients. It includes mind, body and soul, something that will influence them to make them feel better about themselves physically, but internally as well.”

“In essence, Le Spa De Jour is a place of sanctuary. It’s a place where as soon as you come in, it’s away from your everyday life and where everyone is welcome.”
